Dunhurst Psychological Study Facility sits on top of a large hill about thirty minutes from town and is the leading recovery station for cases of extreme violence in the small town of Anywhere, USA. It's known as a resting place for hopeless cases, like it's almost 20 year inhabitant Trenton Cilliano. Run by Dr. Julian Saddler and Dr. Ilayna Black, the staff ranges between 20-30 employees. Safe and far off, the reclusive setting allows it's inhabitants to get well while being shut off from common distractions.
However, America has been over run by a infestation of vampires. Most humans do not believe in vampires. Those who do are ridiculed by society. Vampires are created by the mixture of bodily chemicals between two beings. Vampires can go out in daylight, and all that jazz, but they have increased psychic abilities, super strength, and must drink blood to survive. They are very fast, and very prone to psychological issues.
Dunhurst knows of the secret lives of vampires because it's own lead psychiatrist is one of the oldest around. His direct underling is the only known case of immunity against the genetic link. They are working at developing a cure for the horrid disease in the locked off portion of the facility.
